Redefine value

Two rivers carve a path through a landscape covered in dense forests in the Mae Hong Son and Tak provinces of Thailand. For generations, the Indigenous Karen people and the Thai Lanna community of Thailand have called these places their home, where they depend on rivers and forests for their livelihoods. Fishermen who cast their nets at dawn and those who farm ask the spirits for permission to show their good intentions. Living in harmony with the land, the communities take from rivers and forests with respect, and give back through careful stewardship.
